Over the last few decades the concept of identity has ceased to be used in the dictionary of social science exclusively, spreading in casual speech. The identity usually implies complex relations of humans towards social and cultural categories. Nevertheless, nowadays researchers have come up to another opinion: the identity is not perceived for granted as something indisputable, it is now defined as an object that occurs in constant process of constructing by the subject.

Modern humans can often find themselves in a situation, when their identity is realized on a changing moveable border, which results in construction of a hybrid essence. Various forms of migration, change of state borderlines, ideological shifts in politics are all just few of the situations that challenge our identity.

We will discuss how to talk about the identity, what happens with the identity of a person outside of the habitual area, and what is a "hybrid identity".
